Shabodi is seeking a Director of Marketing in North America. The marketing team is responsible for increasing brand awareness through public relations, social media, and brand marketing, elevating our brand perception across everything we do. The marketing team also establishes Shabodi as a thought leader in the Application Enablement space and increases B2B demand for our products and services in partnership with our sales teams.
Reporting to the President and Chief Commercial Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the Marketing & Brand strategy, ensuring that Shabodi continues to lead the market.
Are you
- Energized to manage our social media channels, bringing ideas and a test-and-learn orientation to drive follower and engagement growth.
- Enthusiastic to work with our sales team to coordinate multi-channel campaigns and webinars and generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Curious and resourceful to research emerging platforms and tools to find new ways to deliver growth and solve problems creatively.
- Confident in distilling communications’ objectives into ad headlines, campaign creative, video scripts, social media, press releases, and other brand communications
- Experienced writing briefs that result in on-brand, high-quality work from creative and PR agencies
- Experienced in developing and managing multi-channel brand and member acquisition campaigns, including both online and offline components
- Experienced in coordinating all aspects of trade show attendants and B2B events
- Motivated to work with other teams to make the case for cross-functional projects, laying out cost-benefit and business impact to obtain alignment and required resources
- Passionate to work closely with product team to produce demo content as well as producing other content such as blogs posts or enablement material.
- Ready to analyze the market trends, track competition and create competitive analysis?
You are ideally…
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or Hospitality
- 7-10 years of experience, including direct experience in a related field (Digital Media, PR, Advertising)
- A high-performance thinker with a strong work ethic and sound judgement
- An excellent verbal and written communicator
- Experienced at managing social media channels with a track record of driving significant follower and engagement growth
- Ready to roll up sleeves to work hands on marketing technology stack – HubSpot, Sales Navigator, LinkedIn, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and other tools
- Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative insights to understand user behavior
- Experience within the Telecom and Networking industry
